AGE: 20 BAYVILLE
Lisa Marie O'Brien, 20, of Bayville, passed away on Thursday, Oct. 9 at Atlantic City Medical Center. Lisa was born in Toms River and lived in Beachwood and Bayville. She graduated from Toms River South High School in 2006 and majored in psychology at Ocean County College. Lisa had planned to continue her education at Stockton College this fall. She was proud to be a certified lifeguard, working in the summer for Sparkling Pools at various senior community pools. Lisa was a sweet girl who aspired to be a writer. She loved to write poetry and she was an avid artist, drawing beautiful sketches. Lisa lived her life with purpose, ambition and hope and touched the hearts of all who knew her in a very special way.
She was predeceased by her father, Todd O'Brien; her grandfathers, Gil Humbert and Joseph Patrick O'Brien and her cousin, William Soden Jr. Surviving are her mother, JoAnne Humbert; a sister, Amanda Moncrief; her grandmothers, Josephine Humbert and Janet O'Brien and numerous caring aunts, uncles and cousins and wonderful friends..
She had to have surgery for some reason n had to have a metal rod put into her leg. she wasnt suppose to leave the hospital right away cuz they needed to make sure it would be ok. she decided to leave anyway n ignore the doctor's wishes. her leg ended up getting badly infected. she had to go to the hospital because it started causing blood clots.. got so bad it started getting to her heart and eventually killed her
